Michael Cara  Founder | President

I started this company for two reasons: to fix a broken system and make luxury affordable.

After 20+ years in the workforce—from serving in the U.S. Army to retail and healthcare—I saw how many businesses fail their people. Leaders bully, companies preach values they don’t practice, and profits come before employees. I’d had enough. I set out to build a company that does the opposite—because when you take care of your employees, they take care of you.

I come from humble beginnings, the third generation of Italian immigrants. My grandmother was a female business owner when that was rare, and my mother helped run her company before later adopting me. They taught me that luxury isn’t inherited—it’s earned through hard work, perseverance, and respect for those you work with and lead.

We all work hard for what we value. You shouldn’t have to break the bank to enjoy quality. At Michele Caravelli, we believe in taking care of our employees and customers—because when you do, they take care of you.

Patrick Spellman is a seasoned Operations Manager with 30+ years of retail leadership experience. He is known for driving operational excellence, improving store performance, and building high-performing teams that exceed goals.

With expertise in process improvement, cost control, inventory management, and customer experience, Patrick combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to boost efficiency and profitability.

He leads by example, mentoring and developing teams through integrity, accountability, and high standards. His focus on investing in people and fostering continuous improvement has enabled him to adapt to evolving retail environments and deliver consistent, long-term success.
